NEW ORLEANS —

The New Orleans Recreation Development Commission will temporarily pause its Teen Fall Internship Program starting Monday due to citywide budget constraints.

The program, which launched two weeks ago, will conclude Saturday, Oct. 25. All participating teens will be paid for hours worked, though the payroll date is awaiting confirmation from the city’s Finance Department. Parents and guardians will be notified when checks are ready for pickup at NORD’s main office. Advertisement
