The Cleveland Browns can’t seem to catch a break. Sitting at 2-5 with the trade deadline approaching, rookie QB Shedeur Sanders is gaining a bit of popularity. The fifth-round pick has quietly impressed in practice and is climbing the depth chart.

Nobody thought Sanders would be linked to trades this soon. But his name is now appearing in several trade talks. Sports Illustrated’s Gilberto Manzano says Cleveland could consider trading him if they get the right deal, a surprise, since the 2025 rookie class has been one of the few positives this season.
