According to Trumbull County Dispatch, part of North Main Street in Hubbard is closed due to a tree that fell. Calls came in about the incident around 2:50 p.m. on Friday.
A 21 News crew witnessed at least four damaged telephone poles and transformers, along with the downed wires.
The tree knocked down wires, which blew a transformer in the area. Live wires are reportedly on the ground.
Hubbard Police told 21 News that all four lanes between North Main Street and West Park Avenue are closed.
It is unknown at this time when the road is expected to reopen, but the Hubbard Police Department says that the road could be closed for "a while".
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
No power outages are being reported in Hubbard at this time, according to the FirstEnergy My Town website.
