With a little over a week until election day, Ohio House Representative Allison Russo (D-7th District) made a stop in the Mahoning Valley Friday evening as she continues her campaign for Ohio Secretary of State.
During an appearance at the Western Reserve Building Trades Fish Fry in Youngstown, Russo told 21 News that the office has become more politicized in years past and she intends to change that.
She added she hopes all Ohioans hear her message.
"This is about restoring trust and transparency back to the office of Secretary of State," Russo said. "Ohio voters, all Ohio citizens deserve a Secretary of State that is going to advocate for them and for their voice to be heard at the ballot box."
Election day is Tuesday November 4th.
