Ring the alarms. The Green Bay Packers’ receiver position is going to get very weird against the Pittsburgh Steelers. As it stands, following the Packers’ final injury report of the week, receiver Jayden Reed is on the injured reserve, Dontayvion Wicks (calf) has been ruled out and both Matthew Golden (hip) and Christian Watson (knee) have been listed as questionable going into the game.
That leaves the Packers with the following healthy receivers on their 53-man roster: Romeo Doubs, Malik Heath and Savion Williams. Heath was very much a roster bubble player at the cutdown deadline, while Williams, a rookie, has basically been a gadget player this year — only playing 10 snaps at outside receiver and 9 snaps in the slot over six games.
