Three goats that had been on the run near Interstate 95 in Clinton for months have been captured and they are safely back home.

Clinton’s animal control officer, Ryan Sheehan, worked with the Durham Animal Response Team, Madison Animal Control, and the Westbrook/Essex/Deep River Regional Animal Control to capture and small herd that had been roaming in the area of Nod Road for the past several months.

Drivers on I-95 were sometimes able to spot the goats.
