A 45-year-old New Jersey teacher has been arrested and charged after allegedly sexting a 13-year-old student.

Lorri Ann Willis, of Hackettstown, is accused of sending “sexual and suggestive text messages to a 13-year-old child who was her former student from June 2024 through October 2025,” the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said Friday.

According to authorities, the Chester Police Department received a report earlier this month of “alleged inappropriate behavior by a teacher employed by the Black River Middle School .”

While speaking with alleged victim, Chester police were told that Willis had sent a picture of her breasts covered by a bra and gave the victim gifts including a ring, according to an affidavit obtained by People.
