Most of the state’s Congressional delegation vowed to dig in their heals Friday as a federal shutdown looms on.

Reps. John Larson (D-1st District), Joe Courtney (D-2nd District), Rosa DeLauro (D-3rd District), and Jahana Hayes (D-5th District) said they continue to support the party’s demand that any funding bill extend healthcare subsidies set to expire at the end of the year.

Hayes warned that healthy people will cancel their insurance if they lose those subsidies, reducing the pool of people who purchase individual health insurance plans on the Affordable Care Act exchange.
