ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: David Feigner, South Anchorage High School

South Anchorage High’s David Feigner is proving he’s a star both on the mound and in the classroom.

David Feigner, a senior and pitcher for South Anchorage High School, recently tried out for the Arizona Fall Classic Academic Baseball showcase. Out of 88 pitchers, he was one of only 20 selected to play.

During the showcase, David faced five batters and struck out four, earning MVP for Pitcher of the Game—all while maintaining his academic excellence.

The South Anchorage community is cheering him on. Keep it up, David!
