BATAVIA — Eric and Sarah Jones still have some work ahead of them at Game of Throws, but they were ready to open up the bar and the axe-throwing portion of their business.

The owners of Game of Throws said they were having a grand opening on Friday and Saturday. They have a liquor license allowing service of beer, wine and apple cider. They’ve been working on getting set in their new home after having to leave the Harvester Center.
