LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Nebraska State Patrol arrested two people following a pursuit in eastern Nebraska Thursday evening.
According to NSP, troopers were notified of a vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 80, near mile marker 433 by Gretna, with stolen Illinois license plates at 7:06 p.m.
The Omaha Police Department’s Able-1 helped troopers in finding the vehicle at a rest stop near mile marker 432.
As the trooper attempted to contact those in the vehicle, the motorist drove away, heading westbound on I-80, NSP said. The Omaha Police Department’s Able-1 took over the pursuit from the air, and the trooper on the ground discontinued.
