The president and CEO of the Windsor-Essex Chamber of Commerce says people shouldn't panic over an announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump that he is ending trade negotiations with Canada over ads run by the Province of Ontario criticizing his tariff regime.
Ryan Donally says it’s vital to have a trade relationship that removes the uncertainty businesses have been dealing with since Trump took office.
But he called Trump’s latest move “a blip on the longer radar.”
“I don't think we should all panic as a result of this,” Donally said.
