ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Bullet-Related Injury Clinic, or BRIC, has been a resource for healing and community for many of the families impacted by the 2022 CVPA shooting.

The clinic, located in the Delmar Divine, helps victims of gun violence as they recover from gunshot wounds, often helping with a healing process that goes deeper than the physical than the physical injury.

Tiffanie Fisher, now a nurse at the BRIC, first came to the organization as a patient. Her husband had been wounded in a shooting.

“I just wanted to be able to help people in the same situation,” Fisher said. “To have something like this that can help families in that way was amazing to us.”

Following the CVPA shooting the BRIC treated more than 20 people connected to the school community. Christin Simp
