Sterlington, La. (KNOE) - The Town of Sterlington and Grow Nela are looking for a developer for a 75 acre site on the south side of Highway 2 in Sterlington.

Mayor Matt Talbert says he hopes this will bring more jobs to the town.

“Our whole goal in getting this site development ready is to bring higher paying jobs into Sterlington,” Talbert said. “That’s what we want to see. Look, the lower, you know, your entry-level jobs are great. People want new restaurants and things like that, but we need some high-paying jobs here in Sterlington. So that was one of the reasons why we set out to get this site ready to go.”
