SPOKANE, Wash. — The man accused of shooting and killing another man in the Logan neighborhood last Friday is facing charges of first-degree murder and robbery.
On Friday, Oct. 17, Spokane police responded to the area of East Mission Avenue and North Cincinnati around 7 p.m. for a reported shooting.
SPD says officers found a a man, later identified as Shawn Cranford, with a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died due to his injuries.
One week later, Zachery McGriff, the man accused of shooting Cranford, faced a Spokane County judge.
Court documents show that McGriff and his nephew got into an argument with Cranford over the title of a car that McGriff was buying from Cranford. Documents show that McGriff allegedly went to Cranford's house to get the
