TEMPLE, Texas — The Santa Fe Plaza Park in downtown Temple will turn into a sea of pink this Saturday as residents gather for a cause that has touched countless lives.

At 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, organizers will host a 90-minute Zumba Party in Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser, an energetic community event dedicated to spreading hope, supporting local families, and raising awareness about breast cancer.

This year’s event holds special meaning for the Temple community. The fundraiser will honor Amanda Fuson, a single mother of two who is currently battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Organizers say the event will also celebrate survivors, support those currently fighting, and remember loved ones lost to the disease.
