BELL COUNTY, Texas — A Marlin Police Department officer was arrested following a traffic stop by a Texas DPS Trooper on Thursday, the Bell County Sheriff's Office confirmed to 6 News.

The Marlin officer, Bernard Ronald Ketter, was pulled over at 9:15 p.m. on Thursday. According to BCSO, Ketter became irritated and was eventually arrested and booked into Bell County Jail for resisting arrest.

BCSO said Ketter was booked into Bell County Jail at 10:09 p.m. He was released on $10,000 bond at 10:39 a.m. on Friday.
