Today brought us a typically gloomy fall day. Intermittent waves of light rain left much of the Ozarks under wet weather and gray skies. I expect this pattern to linger through the weekend.
While I can’t rule out a stray shower or sprinkle, rainfall will begin to taper off this evening. The next notable wave of soggy weather will move in on Saturday morning.
Tomorrow will feel much like today, with light rain during the morning hours and heavier totals expected west of Highway 65.
Drizzle and sprinkles will spread into the eastern portion of our viewing area, with rain chances lingering into the afternoon. Overcast skies will keep temperatures on the chilly side, with highs stuck in the 50s both Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday, the focus for rainfall will gradually shift east of Highway
