NILES, Ohio (WKBN) -- A Liberty Township trustee is in jail on a felony charge. Devon Stanley was arrested Friday evening by Niles Police and booked into the Trumbull County Jail on a second-degree felony charge of felonious assault.

At this point, the circumstances surrounding his arrest are unknown.

Stanley will likely be arraigned in Niles Municipal Court next week. In addition to serving as a trustee, Stanley serves as a prosector for Girard Municipal Court and Trumbull County’s Chief Deputy Clerk of Courts.
