The suicide note of Dr. Sampada Munde (28), who committed suicide in a hotel in Phaltan, Satara, Maharashtra, has also been found. It mentions a Member of Parliament (MP) and his two personal assistants. It is alleged that these people were constantly pressuring her to issue fake fitness certificates for the accused. When she refused, the MP also spoke to her over the phone.

Munde committed suicide on October 23. The name of Sub-Inspector Gopal Badne was written on her palm. It is alleged that Badne raped the doctor 4 times in the last 5 months.
