Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu inaugurated by cutting the ribbon

The new Terminal-2 of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport will open for passengers from Sunday night. Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu inaugurated it on Saturday.

This upgrade is starting with the winter schedule. The terminal is equipped with self-bag drop, virtual info desks, and six new boarding bridges. These facilities will provide passengers with a faster and easier journey.

Terminal 2 was closed for upgrades in April 2025. After the upgrade, Terminal 2 will offer passengers many new and state-of-the-art facilities. 120 domestic flights will depart from Terminal 2 every day.
