CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The Craven County Sheriff’s Office is hoping to find new information in a missing person case that’s more than 25 years old.
On June 20th, 2000, 16-year-old Christina Lewis was reported missing from Half Moon Road near Bridgeton. Her family last heard from her on June 6th, but waited to file the report because she had left home and returned days later in the past.
The picture on the right is what she might look like now.
Since her disappearance, investigators have done many interviews and searched several properties and waterways based on information they’ve received.
Her sister, Tiffany Adams, says she’s glad the case is getting attention again and still hopes for answers.
