BOULDER, Colo. (KKTV) - The Boulder Police Department (BPD) said officers are searching for a person of interest in a reported “hockey stick assault.”
BPD said officers responded to the 2700 block of Baseline Road just after 7 p.m. Thursday for the reported assault.
Officers said the victim reported that while he was riding his bike, a man on roller blades came up behind him and assaulted him verbally and with a hockey stick.
The victim was reportedly uninjured and declined medical treatment.
Based on preliminary information, police said they believe the suspect may have followed the victim from the CU Boulder campus onto Baseline Road.
