OMAHA, Neb. —
Nebraska State Patrol arrested two people following a high-speed chase on Interstate 80.
Troopers were called for a report of a Kia Forte on the interstate with stolen Illinois license plates around 7 p.m. on Thursday.
When NSP tried to approach the vehicle that was at a rest stop, 30-year-old Courtney Feltz drove away.
The Omaha Police Department's helicopter tracked the vehicle for several miles.
NSP said the Kia reached speeds up to 125 miles per hour.
Eventually NSP was able to deploy stop sticks.
Troopers said Feltz and the passenger, 31-year-old Dylan Pinkston, then led them on a foot pursuit before they were taken into custody.
Feltz was arrested for flight to avoid arrest and theft, and Pinkston was arrested for obstructing a peace officer.
