The Lake County Sheriff's Office says multiple agencies helped take a man accused of fleeing a traffic stop into custody.
The sheriff's office alleges Fabian Carrasco fled a stop in Eustis on Oct. 10, and a Lake County Deputy later found his car on Harris Road in Tavares.
Carrasco is accused of striking the deputy's patrol car and taking off, heading toward Highway 441.
Tavares police, Howey-in-the-Hills police, and the Lake County Sheriff's Office helicopter all joined the search for the suspect.
A Howey-in-the-Hills officer put down stop sticks and deflated three of the suspect's tires, according to the sheriff's office, but they say Carrasco kept going. Ultimately, trying to hide in a bush behind a dumpster in a Tavares shopping plaza.
