The Kissimmee Police Department's annual "Boo on Broadway" event brought thousands to the area for Halloween festivities, showcasing community policing and announcing a $750,000 grant to enhance public safety.
"It's line up, it's line up, it's a line up," echoed through the "Haunted Precinct" inside the Kissimmee Police Department.
Chief Charles "Chuck" Broadway expressed the event's significance for community engagement.
"Our community coming together just to have a good time, enjoy some treats, something to do for the entire family," Broadway said.
The city of Kissimmee received a $750,000 grant from the Department of Justice to support public safety and expand community policing. Broadway highlighted the importance of the grant, noting Kissimmee's rapid growth.
