LUFKIN, Texas (KETK) -- The Lufkin Panthers take a step back after losing to the undefeated Port Arthur Memorial Titans on Friday night.

The Panthers were just getting back into a grove following their last two wins against West Brook and Sterling. Now, they possess a 5-3 record and need to finish strong if they want to fulfill postseason aspirations.

Next week, the Panthers are on the road to face off against the Beaumont United Timberwolves on Oct. 31 at 7 p.m.
