HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Pikeville extended their win streak to four games with a 24-6 victory against Hazard.
The Bulldogs got the scoring started with Cameron Miller throwing a TD pass to William Shoptaw on fourth and goal.
The Panthers later forced and recovered a fumble, which later resulted in a rushing score from Jayden Justice. The successful extra point from Steven Gonzalez-Santes put Pikeville in front, 7-6.
A late first half field goal from Gonzalez-Santes gave the Panthers a 10-6 cushion at the break.
Pikeville added on two more scores in the second half. They have won six straight against the Bulldogs.
Pikeville’s regular season finale is against the Bracken County Polar Bears on Oct. 31.
Hazard concludes with a home date against Somerset on Oct. 31.
