COAL TOWNSHIP — Shamokin quarterback Logan Steele chose the perfect time to air one out.

After completing one pass in the first three quarters of Friday’s Coal Bucket game against Mount Carmel, the junior heaved the ball, and found Ryan Bickert for 37 yards in the final minute of play. Bickert’s catch put the Indians at the Red Tornadoes 10, and after a face-mask penalty, the Indians moved even closer to the goal line.
