Pittsburgh Steelers star cornerback Darius Slay is not a fan of the gold throwback uniforms the team will be donning before their game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Slay appeared on the Richard Sherman podcast to discuss the throwbacks, and believes there is ‘too much yellow’ and that it makes the players ‘look like we’re incarcerated.’
“It makes us look like we’re incarcerated. Like we’re in a jailhouse. If I don’t feel good, I don’t play good, so I’m gonna have to figure it out,” Slay said . “Because that might be a little bit too much yellow. But we’re gonna do what we do, though.”
This will be the first year the Steelers will wear their new gold throwback uniforms. Inspired by their 1933 uniforms from the inaugural season of the Steelers , it is accompanied by a
