Hudson (KWWL) - QB Tade Roberts 21-yard TD pass to Gavin Gunnarson with 7:04 left in the 4th quarter propelled the Hudson Pirates to a 21-14 victory over the Central Springs Panthers in the Class 1A State Playoffs. Roberts ran for 2 TDs in the 1st quarter to give the Pirates an early 14-0 lead. Central Springs would fight back. First with an electric 68-yard TD run from Isiah Priestby in the 2nd quarter. Later in the quarter, Panthers QB Eddie Pruin's 28-yard TD pass to Braydin Crum evened the score. It was a defensive battle in the 2nd half, with the Pirates defense forcing a fumble late in the game as the Panthers were driving to tie the score.
