Owen Paulsen rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown and the King’s Way Christian played well to give the Knights a big 13-6 win over Castle Rock in a Trico League game Friday in Castle Rock.

After Castle Rock took a 6-0 lead on Wiley Bolar’s 4-yard touchdown run, Paulsen ran 21 yards for a score in the second quarter to put the Knights up 7-6.

Paulsen only completed six passes for 55 yards, but all six went to Rylan Richter, including a 15-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter.

Jackson Lovato led the Knights on defense with 14 tackles and one forced fumble. Mason Buck added 11 tackles and one sack.

The Knights can put themselves in position to secure a playoff spot with a win over Fort Vancouver next week. But if Castle Rock also beats Kalama next week, there will be a three-team tie
