BATTLE GROUND — Senior quarterback Deven Vigue threw for 251 yards and four touchdowns as the Prairie Falcons withstood a furious Shelton rally to defeat the Highclimbers 35-28 in a 3A Greater St. Helens League contest at District Stadium in Battle Ground.

Vigue threw touchdown passes of 49, 49, 9 and 26 yards for the Falcons (4-4,2-2), who scored 35 unanswered points after Shelton took a 6-0 lead on a halfback pass from Jay-Jay Rhoades to Gunnar Jensen. His last touchdown pass on a post pattern to King Zeh-Rahk II in the early stages of the fourth quarter gave Prairie a 35-6 lead.
