Mixed feedback from the Wellesley community regarding the potential future use of its former arena and community centre property might make a final decision difficult.

“When I read through the report, it seemed to me there was not one item that really stood out that people absolutely had to have,” Mayor Joe Nowak said following a recent presentation to the township’s committee of the whole that summarized the results of public consultation undertaken with the help of a planning consultant.

“I mean, a lot of the percentages were in the 50-to-55-range for various options,” Nowak said.

“Would you not think that’s gonna make it awfully difficult for this council to make a decision, when the time comes?”
