HONOLULU (Island News) -- Breezy winds and dry weather lead to an elevated fire risk through Saturday evening.
Tonight, cloudy skies will appear with lows in the middle 70s. Passing trade wind showers are also expected. Expect rains to increase late night.
On Saturday, there will be breezy trade winds and partly cloudy skies. Expect passing showers focused during the morning hours. The greatest chance of rain will be in windward and mauka areas. Drier conditions will appear in the afternoon. The Big Island could see pockets of heavier rains. East winds will be at 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect on Saturday. Windy conditions will combine with dry air allowing any fires that develop to spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended during this time due
