New Delhi: Virat Kohli signed off from Australia on a high with a terrific unbeaten 79-run knock in the third ODI against the hosts at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Sydney on Saturday. Kohli and Rohit Sharma put on a batting masterclass in front of an electric crowd at the SCG to take India home comfortably in a 237-run chase and help the visitors end the three-match series 2-1 with a consolation win.
Rohit slammed his 33rd ODI century en route to an unbeaten 121 off 125 balls and combined with Kohli (74) to share an unbroken 168-run stand for the second wicket as India romped to a 9-wicket victory. Kohli roared back to form with a classy half-century after registering back-to-back ducks in the first two matches.
