Pierre Polievre is the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, for now at least. He will face a leadership review in January in Calgary. Voting delegates have much to consider as to whether or not Polievre is fit to lead the party. More importantly, is he able to win a federal election?
The April election was Polievre’s to lose and he lost it. Mere weeks before Canadians went to the polls, he was looking to win a landslide victory after a decade of Justin Trudeau’s Liberals held power. Instead, he not only lost the election, he was hammered in his own seat which he had held for more than 20 years.
