Auburn (3-4, 0-4 SEC) looks to end a four-game skid to begin league play as it travels to face an Arkansas (2-5, 0-3 SEC) team that is led by an interim coach in Bobby Petrino. The Tigers and Razorbacks have both suffered heartbreaking losses in SEC play, with the former losing close in all four of its losses to ranked conference foes while the latter has come close in upset bids against Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

Something has to give on Saturday afternoon in Fayetteville, and if Auburn can't get the job done on the road, it may not bode well for Hugh Freeze's future in this job.

This game will be defined by a contrast of styles. Auburn has a solid run game between Jeremiah Cobb and quarterback Jackson Arnold, but it's one of the least successful passing teams in the nation. It has had to rely on its defense, which struggles a decent amount against the pass but has been elite against the run so far this season.

That's a bit of a scary matchup against an Arkansas offense that is highly explosive, both in the run game and the passing game with quarterback Taylen Green. Meanwhile, its defense has been downright horrendous, particularly against the run, ranking 133rd nationally in defensive rushing success rate.

If Auburn's offense is going to figure things out, it will be in this game. But Arkansas has been competitive in most of its losses, and this feels like the game when it finally wins one.
