Motorists in Lehigh County should prepare for lane restrictions and possible delays as PennDOT plans numerous maintenance projects throughout the area for the last week of October.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will conduct work on more than 16 roads across the county, with most projects involving lane restrictions with flagging operations during daytime hours.
The earliest project begins on Sunday, when westbound lane restrictions will be in place overnight on Route 22 West between Route 309 and Interstate 78 in South Whitehall and Upper Macungie townships. This work will continue through Friday, with restrictions in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Starting Monday, crack sealing operations will affect several roads, including 24th Street in Salisbury Township, Sell Road
