The attacks on leaders and workers of CPI (M) have been continuing in different parts of the state . In the latest such incident the residence of Narayan Ghosh, secretary of the CPI (M)’s local committee in Shalgarah-Garzanmura under Kakrabon assembly constituency, was ransacked and vandalised by a gang of local miscreants politically aligned with the BJP. Narayan Ghosh and his son had to run away from home to save their lives from the murderous attack.

Sources from Shalgarah said that yesterday in the evening a gang of local miscreants known to be affiliated with the BJP and identified as Sanjay Sarkar, Abhijit Ghosh, Dulu Ghosh, Bijay Chakraborty, Kajal Debnath, Nirmal Ghosh , Rajiv Ghosh and a number of other stormed the residence of Narayan Ghosh and vandalised the furnitures in the t
