Chhath Puja, a four-day-long Hindu festival dedicated to the Sun God (Surya), and Chhathi Maiya begin today, October 25. It is celebrated mostly by the people of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh. As the celebrations began today, festive fervour gripped several cities across India.
In Delhi, a heavy rush of migrant workers was seen at the Railway station heading to their hometown to celebrate the sacred festival with their families.
