Connecticut native Alyssa Naeher is back in the state for a celebratory weekend.
The gold winning goalkeeper with the 2024 U.S Women’s Soccer Team kicked off her weekend with fans at Southern Connecticut State University to host An Evening with Alyssa Naeher.

SCSU women’s soccer captains Shelby Green and Olivia Jones expressed their enthusiasm ahead of the super-athlete’s arrival.
"A night like this means everything for us, it's so inspiring seeing someone who is from Conn. come back and give back to the community,” Green said.
Jones, who plays center-back, said she was looking forward to getting tips from Naeher.
