STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) -- The Statesboro Police Department (SPD) is looking for witnesses to a deadly shooting that happened early Saturday morning.

SPD arrived at 200 Lanier Drive at approximately 1:00 a.m. for a report of shots fired. They discovered a 30-year-old man deceased on the scene from a gunshot wound.

SPD reviewed video surveillance and saw multiple witnesses present in close proximity to the shooting. Detectives are asking anyone to come forward with information.
