WSAVSKIDAWAY ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) —Sleep in Heavenly Peace and community volunteers spent their Saturday morning building beds for children in need.
Sleep in Heavenly Place is a non-profit organization that builds bunk beds to children and families in need, and on Saturday morning, dozens of community members got together at Messiah Lutheran Church to build 30 beds for children in the Greater Savannah.
Volunteers worked together to construct beds, turning piles of wood into fully assembled frames in just a few hours.
