FRISCO--- Across the Metroplex, football games had been rescheduled to Thursday due to inclement weather inbound – all culminating in one of the top games in the area with Lone Star hosting Wakeland in a battle of unbeatens.

Originally scheduled for Kuykendall Stadium, a late start for the second game of a doubleheader at The Star was the battleground for a pivotal bout in the District 5-5A Division I championship race.
