Edna Karr extended its winning streak to 21 games Friday night with a, 63-12, victory over Catholic League foe Warren Easton at Morris Jeff F.X. Stadium.
Quarterback John Johnson, currently committed to Liberty, had another big game totaling 338 yards with six touchdowns while completing 10 of his 14 pass attempts.
The Cougars’ special teams and defensive units also made big impacts including a recovery on the opening kickoff of the game and a 21-yard scoop-and-score by Alabama A&M commit Romeo Brown.
“It felt good coming out and getting a win on senior night,” said Brown, who played his final regular season home game for Karr as one of the team’s seniors.
“We’ve had four years of hard work and we put it all into this one night. This is what we do at Karr — dominate.”
