Greg D. Janisch, Sr., 70, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, surrounded by the comfort of his family. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Greg touched the lives of many with his wisdom, humor, and friendship over the years.

Services are from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at Roeder Mortuary, 108th Street Chapel, 2727 N. 108th Street, in Omaha.

Greg was born on Nov. 3, 1954, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and was the son of Ed and Carol Janisch. Throughout his life, he visited many places, making friends, including many in Gillette.

Greg married Denise Janisch in the 1970s; they were together for 49 years together before his passing. Together, they brought two boys, Gregory Jr. and Bradley, and a daughter, Jan (JJ), into the world. Greg’s
