This year, University of Wyoming head men’s basketball coach Sundance Wicks had his first full offseason to assess the team’s needs and recruit from both the transfer portal and high school.

There is a lot of turnover from last season to this year, with 13 players leaving, and Wicks is replacing them with 12 new ones.

Only Matija Belic, Abou Magassa, and Garrett Spielman returned from last season’s team, leaving five new freshmen and seven transfers to reload the Cowboys team for the 2025-26 season.

The roster is filled with familiar faces in Laramie to overseas talents and proven veteran players with one season of eligibility remaining. In Oct. 18's exhibition game in Gillette, several players stood out in the brown and gold.
