SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) -- This weekend will kick off with pleasant temperatures and dry skies across the state, but the winds of change are knocking on the door.

Saturday will top out in the upper 60s and we may even squeeze out some 70s, St. George will be in the mid 70s both Saturday and Sunday. Clouds begin filling in on Saturday ahead of an incoming cold front transporting cool soggy northwestern air into northern Utah. Saturday should still be dry for the most part with a mix of sun and clouds, but as we get into the evening there's a chance we could start seeing light rain showers moving in from the West Desert and into the Wasatch Front and northern mountains.
