DRAPER, Utah (ABC4) -- Multiple businesses at a Draper shopping center have been asked to either close or close their restrooms due to a sewer line blockage in the area, according to the Salt Lake County Health Department (SLCoHD).

At around 9 p.m. Friday night, SLCoHD crews responded to a sewage backup near 12200 South State Street that was entering a nearby storm drain. Crews from Jordan Basin Improvement District, which owns the sewer line, reportedly worked through the night to fix the problem but were unable to clear the line by this morning.

"Due to the amount of gravel and debris backing up in the sewer line, Jordan Basin believes the line is damaged (broken or collapsed), so repair could take several hours to days," Salt Lake County officials said in a release.
